With over a decade of planning events and working with talented and professional vendors, we equip our clients with the tools to entertain in style! Our philosophy is that each event is an unique experience and celebration reflective of the client. We believe in infusing timelessly-classic designs into effortlessly-elegant celebrations of all kinds – weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, mitzvahs, and corporate events. Cristina loves entertaining and celebrating with friends and family. She has been planning and designing weddings, socials, and corporate events of all styles and sizes since 2005, and is known for designing effortlessly-elegant events filled with memorable details. Cristina began CCS Weddings & Celebrations in 2012 after years of working in catering, museums, and country clubs. Her experiences prior to opening her business gave her a vast knowledge of all aspects of the event industry that she uses to help her clients plan impeccable events. Her own wedding was featured in Town & Country Weddings and her honeymoon in Martha Stewart Weddings. She was named the “Rising Star Event Planner” in 2016 by Washingtonian Bride & Groom and is on their list for Best Wedding Vendors in Washington. She is also a Little Black Book member with Style Me Pretty, and a Blue Ribbon Vendor with Southern Weddings. Her client’s weddings have been featured in The Knot National Magazine, Washingtonian Bride & Groom, Style Me Pretty, Grey Likes Weddings and more.
Originally from Oxford, on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Cristina now lives in Potomac, Maryland with her husband Justin and their golden retriever puppy named Charlotte – “Charlie.” When not working, Cristina loves to travel the world, and some recent stamps in her passport include: the Bahamas, Italy, Greece, Morocco, India, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Australia, and Hong Kong. She also loves to take cooking classes, brush up on the Italian language, and spend time with friends and family in Annapolis. She holds a B.A. in Economics and Business from Randolph-Macon College.
